Due to continually changing legal ramifications, insurance liabilities, supply and demand, these machines may or may not be available outside the USA at the time you are looking to purchase this kind of equipment.
However, Andy will seek the definitive answer for you, as far as applies in Australia, at the time.
When it comes to vacuuming combustible materials, both electric and pneumatic vacuums can be used as long as they are properly equipped.
Only electric vacuums can be certified as explosion-proof – meeting a strict set of industry standards.
Properly outfitted pneumatic vacuums are deemed “intrinsically safe” because there is no legal certification
for “explosion-proof” pneumatic vacuums.
It is important to note that our explosion-proof and intrinsically safe vacuums are specifically engineered to be used in hazardous environments – they’re not just “dressed-up” base models.
