The Nilfisk Greyline Wet and Dry IVB7 M is perfect for users who need a tough large capacity wet and dry vacuum cleaner with features that focus on efficiency.
The 1500 Watt motor gives an airflow of 60 litre/sec at a vacuum of 23 kPa.
It's a quiet 57 dB(A) industrial vacuum, with superior suction performance, and anti-static capability.
The XtremeClean semi-automatic filter cleaning system takes care of filter cleaning tasks in just a few seconds without interrupting your work. The washable PET pleated filter is highly efficient giving lower maintenance costs than machines costing twice the price, with filters that are also twice the cost of these. Andy recommends asking for the machine to be supplied with the optional TYPE H Filter 107400564
An eyeful is better than an earful!! So view the video on the Nilfisk-Alto Attix Xtream vacuum system.
Tilt or Lift-Off 70 litre top quality stainless steel dust container system, allows you to work for a very long time without having to empty the container until it is completely necessary. They also aid emptying, in which ever way suits your situation.
Dustbags are optional, however, Andy recommends them in the first instant to help reduce the load on the filter, if users don't use the semi-automatic filter cleaning to it's optimum.Large rear wheels and front lockable castors allows for manoeuvrability.
Automatic On/Off mode can be used by workers who use the machine with electric hand tools, because starting or stopping the tool starts and stops the vacuum as well.
The IVB7 M comes supplied with a genuine Nilfisk hose kit comprising of chromed steel tubes, trade and industrial hose and nozzle kit. The IVB7 M has a 12 month warranty.

The Vacuum Doctor’s Personal Thoughts
This machine differs from its competitors by being fitted with an automatic filter cleaning mechanism which works fantastically well and is best demonstrated by the short video. In the video, a WHOLE 25 Kg. bag of cement is vacuumed up and the machine doesn't lose suction whatsoever.
Then when the bag is emptied, the machine is opened showing it is full of the cement powder.
The machine automatically blows back through the filter every 30 seconds keeping it clean and retaining its highest efficiency.
I've actually carried out a similar job where I sucked up 50 litres of powder-coating paint out of a machine in one hit. The clean side of the filter was as clean as a whistle afterwards and there was no loss of suction at all during the task.
Another alternative is the smaller IVB5 from Nilfisk. This is a smaller unit, the same as in the video. It has a good quality plastic dust container which is easily handled. It's also very manoeuvrable.
But firstly let the semi "automatic" filter cleaning mechanism go through several 20 second cycles, by starting the machine with your hand blocking off the hose inlet. This will make it "WHOOMP" loudly twice, and blow the dust from the pleats of the filters. If this hasn't been done whilst it's been used, just shallow pulses, with not much 'WHOOMP" the dust will have become packed tightly into the pleats.
When these come to the workshop, with reports of poor suction, that's what we do first, and most of the time great suction returns after half a dozen twenty second cycles.
DO NOT bash these filters on walls or the ground, the pleats will distort, and possibly split and dirt will be drawn into the motor compartment.
When removing the filters from the motorhead, keep the filter downwards, and pull the cartridge down, so dust falls away from the entrance to the motor, and doesn't contaminate inside the motor head.
