G'day Angus,
Thanks for taking the time to write your 3 Star Review. However it leaves me extremely puzzled when you read the previous 11 very positive and grateful reviews on this product. Everyone else has found our photos informative, and when you consider the many hundreds of these items that we've sold 99.999% of our customers have been blissfully happy.
We show a group of the green "O" rings, it's the only "O" ring on our site that isn't black. We also show a photo of the "O" ring in situ.
OK, so maybe now it's time to upload a new photo, of the single green "O" ring in it's genuine Nilfisk packaging, but when I began selling these, they came in a bag of however many you wanted
When buying ANYTHING on line you can't relay on photos. If you're buying a car it may say "Overseas model shown" or "photo is for illustration only". We don't always have the right photo at the right time.
There are 3,000 items on our website, and we first began selling online 20 years ago.
There are only 3 of us in this family owned business, to process sales, update content, carry out repairs and maintenance on customers machines, and run the business in general.
If we don't have the item in stock t the time we list it, we may have to search the Nilfisk Media Library for a photo, or we may have to use a similar photo, and in that case, I will write that the photo is of a similar item, and I'll update it ASAP with a date.
Buying on-line is "do it yourself" DIY.
A buyer has to firstly ensure they have the knowledge, confidence, competence and wherewithal to carry out what they want to do.
Secondly, look at the partslists, drawings and factsheet I’ve put on our website and find the parts you need. If you’re not certain, send an email DETAILING THE PART NUMBER, SKU and ask the question. I’ll try to answer it best I can.
The least a customer can do, is carefully check out the photos on the web page, AND READ THE TEXT that I took my time to write, using my experience as a technician, NOT as a web designer, NOT as a sales person, BUT as an ENGINEER who LOVES the NILFISK brands of products, and WANTS TO HELP customers get the items they want and have difficulty getting elsewhere.
In the big online world, you have to take responsibility for yourself. You and your hard earned money are very easily parted, and there's not always someone to help get it back.
READ EVERYTHING, photos might simply be click bait! I happen to know our site has been spoofed by a bad actor using our photos, and I CAN"T GET IT TAKEN DOWN after over a month!
Take care and keep on reviewing your online purchases, Andy :)
