This is the plinth or hub that the side brush mounts on. The brush simply clips on, no bolts are used with this arrangement the second photo is simply to illustrate how the part is situated on the broom.

It suits several of the Nilfisk fleet of mechanical rider floor sweepers, such as Nilfisk SR1300H and the Nilfisk-ALTO Floortec R580 floor sweeper and the Nilfisk-ALTO Floortec R680P rider floor sweepers amongst others.
