It fitted in the plastic bent tube shown on Nilfisk GM200 GM300 GM400 vacuum cleaner up to the Nilfisk King GM500 series of vacuum cleaners, as well as the Nilfisk GM90 and GS90 and the Nilfisk and Tellus GM80 and Nilfisk GD1000 Series of vacuum cleaners, which includes the Nilfisk GD1005 and the Nilfisk GD1010 commercial vacuum cleaners and the Nilfisk Business 10 litre commercial vacuum cleaner as well as the Nilfisk HDS2000 commercial vacuum cleaner

It's purpose is for reducing the suction when vacuuming curtains, rugs and mats or thick carpets when the floor tool is hard to push.
