Correct part for my Gerni. 145.3

Fair price, delivery took a couple of days.

The old part was an absolute b***h to get out. It had corroded in with lime scale and nothing I put on that fragile plastic nut would move it. Had to chisel it out with a screwdriver and hammer. Once I got the centre spring and plug out I was able to use a 16mm spade bit to carefully drill out the rest of it and then used a right angle pick to pull out the white bottom piece. You will need a 25mm 6 point socket to tighten the new part in or a pair of those plumbers adjustable pliers with the flat jaws. Oh and 25mm 6 point sockets are a pain to find anywhere. My 25mm 12 point is a bit too loose, rounds over the plastic nut, and the 1" SAE won't fit.

I have used the pressure washer for a few hours since replacing the part and all seems to be good except for the odd start stop it does by itself when turned on but not being used, it was doing that before it started failing to start when I pulled the trigger on the wand. I just turn it off when not using it fixes that minor problem.
