However, you would probably had to source it in your own country. It may also be called the VC300HEPA depending where you are.

The Nilfisk Extreme is obsolete as far as Australia is concerned and the few remaining parts are expensive.

The Nilfisk VP300HEPA is far BETTER, lighter, sturdier, more practical, more serviceable, and shouldn’t have an issue with obsolescence for a very long time! The bags are $23 for TEN HUGE ten litre dustbags, not $40 for 4 tiny two litre dustbags!!

It just makes economic and genuine environmental sense and doesn’t waste your money.

With your observation about the duty, you purchased the hose without Australian GST on the hose and freight, so you saved 10%

It's unfortunate that governments around the world are determined to get their cut from any advantages from buying online, even if that advantage is purely the ability to get that specific product. The challenges for an on-line business selling internationally, are increasing, and soon it will be far easier and financially to limit ourself to selling internally to Australia, and probably New Zealand as well.

I don't want to be a tax collector for every government of countries we make sales to!
